SPIRIT signs Quanta and becomes the dominant voice engine player on the global mobile OEMs/ODMs market
VON Spring 2007, San Jose - March 19, 2007 – SPIRIT DSP, the world's leading provider of embedded voice, video and audio software products, today announced that Quanta Computer Inc., a Global Fortune 500 company and the world’s leading mobile equipment OEM and design house, has chosen SPIRIT voice processing solution for its smart phones and PDAs.
Adding Quanta to other SPIRIT mobile voice customers including Compal Communications and HTC, makes SPIRIT the dominant provider of voice and video enhancement software for mobile OEMs/ODMs worldwide.
SPIRIT voice processing solution will be integrated into the Quanta smart phones, ensuring outstanding performance while saving power consumption. Under the framework agreement between the two companies, Quanta will use SPIRIT voice processing technologies in multiple devices.
