C54CST software consists of the most demanded SPIRIT CST telephony algorithms and open, flexible Framework which allows the user to easy control those algorithms on different abstraction layers.
Chipset Mode
In chipset mode, the ROMed algorithms are controlled via UART by AT-commands from a Host processor. For example to dial number 123 the Host processor just needs to send command ATDT123 to C54CST.
FLEX Mode
In FLEX mode, developers can create their own applications that use ROMed algorithms of C54CST and place those applications into available RAM of C54CST. Thus it is possible to create complete solutions that are based on single C54CST chip.
C54CST chip has 40kW of internal RAM. Depending on what algorithms are used, 27-35 kW of C54CST internal RAM are available for developers. See the detailed table below.
