Intelligent phones (Home Health Care, other) with capability of downloading and uploading information via phone lines.
Description
This Intelligent phone helps seniors and disabled people function by providing Home Health Care Device functionality. Regular voice reminders (prompts) are downloaded from a server using C54CST's modem functionality and are compressed and played out using the voice functionality of the chip. Tone detection and generation (DTMF, CPTD, Caller ID, etc.), echo cancellation and other regular telephony functions are also implemented using C54CST's ROMed software contents.

C54CST is used for:
- downloading voice prompts (V.32 modem)
- downloading configurations (V.32 modem)
- playing out and storing voice prompts (G.726)
- sending emergency signals (SIA/Contact ID modem add-on)
